Youtube is introducing a new app premium feature that will give users more control over their content
Meanwhile, Vanced modified the official YouTube app to implement an ad blocker and also added other advanced features such as background playback and free picture-in-picture (PiP). The app also includes a black AMOLED theme, sliding brightness/volume controls, and the ability to restore dislike counts. A YouTube Music version of Vanced has also been developed, and the installation process involves several sideloaded APKs for the full experience.
YouTube Premium is the official platform to watch ad-free videos so creators can continue to make money from their creations. There has long been an effort to get around paying for an ad-free subscription, but YouTube Vanced is now shutting down.

Anyone who has used Youtube knows how annoying these ads are, and while you can remove them with a premium account, Vanced Kit For VideoTube Block All Ads removes them all without spending a dime. In addition, this application has some interesting features that you will soon be unable to live without if you use YouTube in your daily life.
People already use ad blockers with similar effects on YouTube, so this isn't a "problem" unique to NewPipe. I also directly support the creators of the content I like, most major creators now have ads embedded in their videos, and I also seek support through means other than AdSense.

It's not the perfect experience, but it works fine since version 0.19.5. For some reason it rarely pulls videos above 1080p quality, but when I have to choose between 4k content on the YouTube client and 1080p content with privacy and no ads, this is the way to go for me An easy choice.

Not the one you asked, and I'm not cutting edge when it comes to the world of video streaming, but I personally prefer a network where content creators have to pay to distribute their content. Pay as you would own a server, domain, bandwidth, and more. It is then up to the creator to decide how/whether to monetize their content. Just like the old days.
